MAN CITY v Chelsea – The PREVIEW: City’s Probable Team
20 Sep
Pablo Zabaleta is expected to return to the side after missing the midweek visit to Germany through suspension, while Martin Demichelis will hold off the challenge of Eliaquim Mangala at the heart of defence. Aleks Kolarov is likely to replace Gael Clichy on the left of the back four.
Fernando and Stevan Jovetic remain sidelined with injury for this encounter, so the side will most probably take a similar shape to that which began against Bayern Munich. James Milner is pushing for a starting berth, as is Frank Lampard, but Sergio Aguero for Edin Dzeko may well be the only change in midfield and attacking areas.
Here is the team Manuel Pellegrini could select:
Referee: Mike Dean.
Prediction: MAN CITY 1 – 1 Chelsea – Helped by a forgiving fixture list, the visitors are in excellent form domestically this campaign and will travel full of confidence. City, on the other hand, have struggled to reach anywhere near peak form and are battling through games rather than fluently sweeping to victories. It promises to be a tight and nervy affair. Goals to be scored by Sergio Aguero and Eden Hazard.
Very early in the season to be worrying but I am.we look like we have big problem’s at the minute. No tougher game than Chelsea , the manager needs to do his stuff fingers x.
I wish us all the very best in this match!
What is with Dzeko?
