That is a joke. What surprise – stodgy narrow insipid (AGAIN) and then throwing Lescott on up top to get a winner. Garcia is rubbish but he’s scored a couple from free kicks so why take him off for Lescott.

    Clueless.

I was totally taken aback by Lescott introduction. You can not put Dezko and supposedly Lescott there, if there is no one to deliver a decent cross and players try continuously to cut through a over-packed middle where there is no space. You are not the only one who is clueless!

As much as I hate United but they really have point in stretching the game to wings and opening up play.

We could buy Falcao (which we won’t) or have ended up with RVP but they still would struggle to score goals as we have no width to stretch play.

I was thinking move Silva into the centre with Milner as a plan B then use our two wingers to supply the bullets for Dzeko but of course we don’t have any wingers. Apart from Sinclair…..

Forget Rossi and any star centre forwards – we need to bring in two fast, direct and skilful wide men who can deliver a cross and then we should see more goals come from our existing strikers.

Our problem is not the forwards but our mid-fields that are too narrow more often. You are absolutely spot on with regard DECENT PACY wingers in coming transfer window but somehow doubt that we would get any.

Fast, direct and skillful wide men? Like Adam Johnson you mean?

So why was Sinclair sitting on the bench the whole game?

Not like Adam Johnson but like an on-form Nani or Bale

We have two bogey teams, Everton and Sunderland. Sometimes the football gods don’t smile on us. We are only half way through the season. XMas champs get nothing, keep the faith blues.

It is not a question of bogey teams but the question that is not sustainable to play the way we play and expect to get out of jail in last 10 minutes probably by bringing Dezko in. We have gotten away with it quite a few times but I do not think it can be sustained unless we start finishing up games early.
