The Early Stages – The Citizens were looking unstoppable

The arrival of Pep Guardiola has raised hopes and expectations from the fans and the start of the new season couldn’t have been any better. With only seven rounds left to be played, the team is sitting in the 4th position with 61 points. The chances to end the season above Liverpool and earn direct placement to UEFA Champions League are not bad at all. However, inconsistency and not so easy schedule could also allow Man Utd and Arsenal to catch up and fight for the 4th spot as well.
