Hart - Despite the weather conditions, his handling was very good. Only had a couple of shots to save and will have been delighted to have recorded another clean sheet - 6
Richards - A powerful performance from our captain for the day. Strong and willing down the right and solid at the back - 7
Savic - Given another opportunity with Kompany missing through a knee injury and this was a promising display. Wasn’t tested a great deal but dealt with Dempsey and Dembele effectively. Read the game well, won his tackles and was dominant in the air - 7
Lescott - Really stepped up his game and took on extra responsibility alongside Savic. Produced a couple of moments of surprisingly neat footwork and was a leader in defence - 7.5
Kolarov - Arguably his best showing in a City shirt for a long time. Defensively, he was all over the place which we have come to expect, but in an attacking sense, he offered a constant threat. His delivery from wide was far more accurate than normal, as he sought to pick out a man rather than fire the ball across the box at pace - 7
Barry - With only Nasri alongside him in the middle, the onus was on Barry to sit deeper and provide cover for the defence, but he was nowhere near his best yesterday. His passing was unusually wayward and he seemed to tire early. After an outstanding first half of the season, he’s just tailed off somewhat and might benefit from a rest - 5.5
Nasri - Operated from his favoured central role and yet again, he oozed control. Seems much more comfortable in the middle rather than out wide and he was able to dictate the tempo, often being heavily involved in our build-up play. Linked up well with Silva especially and continues to show signs of settling - 7
A. Johnson - Was a constant threat for the whole game, something which he very rarely is. Had the beating of Baird in the first half, tormenting him with his trickery. Won a penalty which I don’t believe should have been given, but it was pleasing to see him keep up his standards for 90 minutes - 7.5
Silva - The perfect game for him. Fulham weren’t overly compact which meant he was afforded more space than he has been in recent matches and showed promising signs of returning to somewhere near his best. Controlled the game with his passing and the fluidity of his movement reminded us of the start of the season - 8
Aguero - Hugely impressive in difficult conditions and my man of the match. Worked tirelessly running the channels and stretching Fulham’s defence and had such great quality when on the ball. Full of tricks and pace, he was a threat throughout and linked up superbly with Nasri and Silva. Took his penalty with customary aplomb and was selfless in providing for Dzeko - 8.5
Džeko - After a couple of slightly below-par displays, this was much better from Dzeko. His movement was more fluid, his workrate was impressive and although he takes too many touches on the ball at times, slowing up our attacks, he linked up quite well with those around him. The goal should give him some much needed confidence - 7
Subs
Milner - Playing with a broken hand, slotted in seamlessly in the middle and produced a solid, if not spectacular, half hour - 7
De Jong - Shored things up in midfield but didn’t have a great deal to do - No time to mark
Pizarro - Came on for the last five minutes and played one sublime crossfield pass to Kolarov which is hopefully a sign of things to come! - No time to mark
Aleks Kolarov’s best offering for a while. He added to his excellent cameo when he came on late v Toffees and gave us a real presence on the left when attacking. I only saw him make one minor error defensively where his qualities are often (shall we say) less than obvious. I thought he deserved more than Lescott say, although big Les played well.
I am looking forward to Yaya returning, you know who I mean, that lazy big tired guy you seem to enjoy criticing

Check out Yaya’s free kick (on the City site) in the Ivory Coast game. Superb goal.
We have missed Yaya big time.
i missed the game but im happy with the score atleast we are 2 points above uniteddy.come on city finish the season as champ16n.hopefuly we can dominate the epl for next 10 yrz. Blue moon rising.
I feel the penalty was justified. Baird stuck his leg out as Johnson passed him. What was without doubt is that we should have had another penalty when Etuhu hacked Silva down in the penalty area. Not sure about a Dzeko slight dip in form. I think he has been very poor for some while. Doesn’t seem to be able to deal with the squad system and gets in Kuns way far too often.
