Nasri and Mario are not on the bench either, strange pick up though understandable considering stoke does not play a high tempo game.

The official line Siamack is that Mario has a ‘virus.’
I wonder if it is that highly virulent ‘off to Milan’ virus? Nasri picked up a slight muscle strain during training and was officially listed as ‘doubtful’ for today. In any event I doubt he’d have played ahead of James Milner away to Stoke. It will be interesting to see who lines up Tuesday night.

Ball over the top and a race between Auguero and the keeper to the ball. Clearly Auguero is one of the best strikers in Europe; however, all I am saying is we lack real, searing pace up front (and in midfield for that matter) over the medium/longer distances and I think we do need it to give us another dimension. We are too one paced.
