Liverpool v MAN CITY – The PREVIEW: City’s Probable Team

Vincent Kompany hobbled out of training today and sent a shock around City supporters with fears that he wouldn’t be available to face Liverpool but should the Belgian be able to stand on one leg, such is his importance to the side, I would expect him to play. Gael Clichy’s pace and superior defensive nous should see him get the nod ahead of Aleks Kolarov.
There is the temptation to include Javi Garcia for this fixture to offer an additional layer of protection in front of the back four, but Liverpool’s relentless pressing and buzzing movement would surely highlight Garcia’s deficiencies both in and out of possession, so expect Yaya Touré and Fernandinho to occupy the two central berths, with James Milner competing with Jesus Navas for a place on the right. Sergio Aguero has trained over the past week and could step into the side, with Edin Dzeko dropping to the bench.

Prediction: Liverpool 2 – 2 MAN CITY – This has the potential to be a pulsating affair, both sides far better in attack than they are when defending their own goal. The quality of forward-thinking players on show is tantalising, and it may well come down to which group handles the pressure of the occasion the best. I’m predicting Sergio Aguero, Samir Nasri, Luis Suarez and Raheem Sterling to get their names on the scoresheet.
I won’t say to much except to say that no way can Sergio be fit, there must be room for jovetic at some stage on that pitch, goes without etc etc ref strong!!! Brave blah blah, talking to be done on the pitch etc etc blah blah…. You know what Needs doing. Jayus the hype… Worse than Elvis in the 68 comeback special.( what a show ) pellets… nicely under the radar, mind out for the furious avalanche.

He just can not be objective about Dzeko.
