MAN CITY v Newcastle – The PREVIEW: City’s Probable Team

28 Oct

Willy Caballero will start in goal, making just his third appearance of the campaign, and there could also be plenty of changes throughout the rest of the side. Bacary Sagna, Martin Demichelis and Aleks Kolarov are all likely to step into the starting XI, while Eliaquim Mangala, Dedryck Boyata and Matija Nastasic are vying for one place at the heart of defence.

Bacary Sagna is sure to bomb forward throughout the game and he’s 33/1 to score the first goal! Get a £20 free bet when you bet £10 here with William Hill.

Fernandinho has been on the bench a fair amount recently, but should come into the side in central midfield. A personal opinion would be to include Fernando as he would benefit from the match practice after appearing rusty following his injury lay-off, but James Milner is a contender for a midfield berth. Samir Nasri is back after injury, Jesus Navas could be given another game on the right of midfield, while Stevan Jovetic will start up front.

Aleks Kolarov is incredible value at 18/1 to score the opener! Bet here with Paddy Power and claim a free bet of up to £25.

Here is the side Pellegrini could select:

Manchester City 4-2-3-1 football formation

Referee: Stuart Attwell.

Prediction: MAN CITY 2 – 1 Newcastle – With many changes expected on both sides, it could be a slightly slower, sloppier affair than would otherwise be envisaged. I’m backing goals from Stevan Jovetic, James Milner and Remy Cabella.

Bet £10 and get a £20 free bet with William Hill here – Samir Nasri is 6/1 to score the first goal of the game. That would pay back over £120 with your free bet!

Stevan Jovetic to score first and City to win 2-1 is a cracking 28/1 with Paddy Power. Open an account here and get a free bet of up to £25!

While Edin has an excellent l.c record I would still like pozo to be given a go, big win for Newcastle at the weekend so they’ll quietly confident especially with the week that we just had. Its time for the manager/players step up a gear here. My confidence in them has being ebbing away to be honest – I’m trying to stay positive’ an early goal would obviously be a big help.

I’d Mangala, he needs game time, and Boyata’s a total disaster.
